Written by Mozart, Die Zauberflöte was a very popular Songspiel (a kind of opera with some spoken dialogue). To this day, this aria remains as one of the most difficult works for soprano in the genre. There are all sorts of recordings of this piece. Some are really, really, REALLY bad.
The version in the video was performed at the Metropolitan Opera a number of years ago. (And yes, that is Kathleen Battle as Pamina!)
